Sand and Stone

  TWO   FRIENDS    WERE     WALKING
THROUGH    THE     DESERT.
DURING    SOME    POINT    OF     THE
JOURNEY,    THEY    HAD     AN
ARGUMENT;    AND    ONE     FRIEND
SLAPPED    THE    OTHER    ONE
IN    THE     FACE.

THE    ONE    WHO    GOT     SLAPPED
WAS    HURT,    BUT     WITHOUT
SAYING    ANYTHING,
WROTE    IN     THE    SAND:

TODAY    MY     BEST    FRIEND
SLAPPED   ME    IN    THE     FACE.

THEY  KEPT    ON     WALKING,
UNTIL  THEY    FOUND     AN     OASIS,
WHERE    THEY    DECIDED
TO  TAKE    A     BATH

THE    ONE     WHO    HAD    BEEN
SLAPPED     GOT    STUCK    IN    THE
MIRE !    AND    STARTED    DROWNING,
BUT    THE    FRIEND  SAVED    HIM.

AFTER    HE     RECOVERED     FROM
THE    NEAR     DROWNING,
HE    WROTE    ON    A     STONE:

"TODAY    MY     BEST     FRIEND
SAVED    MY    LIFE   ".

THE    FRIEND     WHO    HAD    SLAPPED
AND    SAVED     HIS    BEST    FRIEND
ASKED    HIM,     "AFTER   I  HURT    YOU,
YOU    WROTE     IN    THE    SAND    AND    NOW,
YOU    WRITE    ON    A     STONE,     WHY?"

THE   FRIEND    REPLIED
"WHEN     SOMEONE    HURTS    US
WE    SHOULD     WRITE    IT    DOWN
IN    SAND,   WHERE    WINDS    OF
FORGIVENESS    CAN     ERASE    IT AWAY.
BUT,    WHEN  SOMEONE     DOES
SOMETHING    GOOD     FOR    US,
WE    MUST    ENGRAVE     IT   IN   STONE
WHERE    NO    WIND
CAN    EVER    ERASE    IT."

LEARN    TO     WRITE
YOUR     HURTS    IN
THE     SAND    AND     TO
CARVE    YOUR
BENEFITS    IN     STONE.

THEY    SAY    IT    TAKES     A
MINUTE     TO    FIND    A     SPECIAL
PERSON,     AN    HOUR    TO
APPRECIATE     THEM,    A    DAY
TO   LOVE     THEM,    BUT THEN
AN    ENTIRE     LIFE
TO     FORGET    THEM.

I JUST DID.

TAKE    THE     TIME    TO    LIVE!

DO    NOT     VALUE     THE    THINGS
YOU  HAVE    IN    YOUR    LIFE,     BUT     VALUE
WHO   YOU  HAVE    IN     YOUR    LIFE !

A great way to look at life and friends.

> The Charles Schultz Philosophy... and Now Mine!

> The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator >of the "Peanuts" comic strip.

> You don't have to actually answer the questions.

> Just read the e-mail straight through, and you'll get the point.

> 1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

> 2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

> 3. Name t he last five winners of the Miss America pageant.

> 4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

> 5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor >and actress.

> 6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

> How did you do?

> The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.

> These are no second-rate achievers.

> They are the best in their fields.

> But the applause dies.

> Awards tarnish.

> Achievements are forgotten.

> Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

> Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

> 1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

> 2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult >time.

> 3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

> 4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and >special.

> 5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

> Easier?

> The lesson:

> The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones >with the most credentials...

> the most money...

> or the most awards.

> They are simply the ones that care the most.

> Pass this on to those people who have made a difference in your >life.

> "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia ."

> > (Charles Schultz)

Help
I have never felt so bad. I just got home from the doctor after putting it off for days. Yup I am sick. I have a lung infection an infection in my throat and ear infection in both ears. I am pretty much hit all over. But I get a couple of days of bed rest and I will enjoy that. Hope everyone is feeling better than me. Enjoy life and being healthy. Hugs and kisses.
No said how it is - talk to me

How to help an ex
I moved out of his house almost a year ago. Now he wants to move. He has done nothing in the house since I left.  So what is his big plan. Have me go clean his house for him. Oh yeah. Let me tell you how much fun that is. There is so much filth in that house and stuff is scattered everywhere. I went there today to get started and only got to clean one room. There is no air so it was like 90 in the house. His water has been shut off so the kids and I have to go to the neighbors to use the restroom. I was going crazy. Not to mention that the kids were bored out of their minds. I have one month to get his house done for him. He will only be here for 3 days to help. That is cleaning getting everything out of there and maybe painting. Plus it is 40 miles round trip. This month is going to be hell for me. But I did call him as I was leaving his house and told him that for everything that he thinks he has done extra for me has been deleted. We are totally even after this. I dont really think I owe him for anything he has done for me and our kids but after this I know I owe him nothing. Just the divorce papers. lol
